Yenory Ajun-De Pantoja, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2024, in Plant City, Florida, at the age of 73. Born on August 24, 1951, in San Jose, Costa Rica, Yenory was a cherished daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose warmth and generosity touched the lives of all who knew her.
Predeceased by her parents, Ricardo Ajun and Rita Gonzalez, Yenory's legacy of love and compassion lives on through her adoring family. She is survived by her children, Karen (Richard) Pantoja Cabrera, Pablo Pantoja, Gina Pantoja, and Moses (Ruth) Pantoja. Her siblings, Carlos Eduardo Ajun, Alvaro Ajun Gonzalez, Orlando Ajun, and Julia Gutierrez, will fondly remember their sister's unwavering support and gentle spirit. Yenory's joy was multiplied by her five grandchildren, Jeremy Cabrera, Celeste Cabrera, Isabella Pantoja, Zachary Pantoja, and Leah Pantoja, and further blessed with the laughter of her five great-grandchildren, Luna, Atlas, Axel, and Emmy Cabrera.
Yenory's life was a testament to her enduring faith and commitment to her community. As a devoted member of Templo Cristiano Faro de Luz Assembly of God, she was a licensed credential minister with the Assembly of God for 40 years. She found strength and solace in her beliefs and the fellowship of her congregation. Her faith was the cornerstone of her existence, guiding her in her lifelong mission to help others and spread kindness wherever she went.
Her love for her family was unparalleled, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Yenory's heart remained firmly rooted in her native Costa Rica, a country she visited often, carrying with her the vibrant culture and traditions that shaped her. Although it had been over a decade since her last visit, her stories and memories of Costa Rica kept her connection to her homeland alive, inspiring her family with tales of its beauty and spirit.
Yenory's life was a beautiful illustration of love in action. She approached every day with a kind heart and an open mind, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a comforting word. Her presence was a source of stability and warmth, and her influence will continue to be felt by those who were fortunate enough to experience her love.
As we bid farewell to Yenory Ajun-De Pantoja, we celebrate a life well-lived, full of moments that will be treasured forever. Her spirit, characterized by love and kindness, will continue to guide and inspire us. Though she has left this earthly realm, her memory will remain a guiding light for her family, her church, and all who were blessed to know her.
