Wayne Edward Loy, a cherished father, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2025, in Plant City, Florida, at the age of 82. Born on September 17, 1942, in Dayton, Ohio, Wayne's life was characterized by his loving and kind nature, which touched the lives of all who knew him.

Wayne proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army, a period of his life that instilled in him a sense of discipline and camaraderie that he carried throughout his years.

In his personal life, Wayne was known for his passion for working on cars and boats, a hobby that brought him immense joy and satisfaction. His hands were rarely still, as he could often be found tinkering in his garage, a testament to his love for mechanics and engineering.

Wayne was predeceased by his loving parents, Jack Loy and Geraldine Smart. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his daughter, Tammy Wolfe; his siblings, John Loy and Mary Loy Hammond; his adored grandchildren, Joshua and Nye MacNicol; and his five great-grandchildren, who brought him great joy in his later years.

Wayne's life was a testament to the power of kindness and the impact one individual can have on the world around them. His gentle spirit and generous heart will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
