Wanda M. Miley, a beacon of kindness and a spirited soul, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2025, at the age of 68 in Lakeland, Florida. Her departure was surrounded by the love and warmth of her family, leaving behind a legacy of gentle strength and unwavering faith.

Born on September 8, 1956, Wanda's life was a testament to her enduring spirit and her capacity for love. She was a woman who found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from the tranquility of fishing to the vibrant colors of her garden. Her love for bird watching reflected her appreciation for nature's beauty, and her passion for live music showcased her zest for life. Wanda's wanderlust led her to travel, discovering new places and experiences, yet she always remained a dedicated member of her community.

Wanda's professional journey was marked by her role as a general manager at McDonald's, from which she retired after years of dedicated service. Her leadership and commitment were evident in her work, as she guided her team with the same kindness and patience that she bestowed upon her family. Wanda's involvement with the Liberty Southern Baptist Church in Plant City was a cornerstone of her life. Her faith was her compass, guiding her through life's challenges and joys, and she found great fulfillment in volunteering and helping others within her church community.

Though she is no longer with us, Wanda's memory is cherished by her loving daughters, Aimee Miley, Donna Miley, and Callie Johnson (Jason). They, along with her nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, will forever hold onto the precious moments and lessons she imparted. Wanda's siblings, Mike Massey, Bob Massey, Ross Massey, Sue Burgeth, and Genevive, will remember her as a sister who brought light and love into their lives.

Wanda was preceded in death by her beloved children, Celvin Henry Miley, Jr. and Stephanie Smith, as well as her brothers Jay and William Massey. The bond they shared in life continues beyond, as a testament to the family's enduring connection.

Her life was a beautiful mosaic of moments filled with love, service, and grace. Wanda M. Miley's gentle presence will be profoundly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. As we bid farewell to this extraordinary woman, we take comfort in the knowledge that her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she touched. Her legacy is one of compassion and warmth, a reminder to all of the power of a kind and spirited soul.

Friends and family will be received on Sunday, August 17, 2025 from 2:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M. at Liberty Baptist Church, 2505 W. Granfield Avenue Plant City, FL 33563.
