Virginia "June" Johnson Obituary

Virginia “June” Johnson 83 of Plant City died June 7, 2019. June was born November 6, 1935 in Samson Alabama. She was the daughter of the late Cecil Dewey and Lessie Lucile Wise Cook. June is survived by her children: Rick Watkins, Cynthia (Terry) Ingram, Jackie (Jeff) Chutter, Siblings: Ben Cook, Art Cook and Diane (Mike) Sparkman, 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She worked for over 30 years as an L.P.N., after retiring she became a dedicated volunteer with South Florida Baptist Hospital as a “Pink Lady”. June enjoyed golfing, bowling, cooking and traveling. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Sister. She was a strong independent woman who loved her family with her whole heart. Services will be held privately.
