Velma Jean Glaros

Velma Glaros, age 87, of Plant City, FL passed away on April 11, 2022.
She was the daughter of Herbert and Corinne Lanier. She is preceded in death by her husband Emmanuel, and her sister Janice Strauss.
Survivors include her children Herby (Tricia) Glaros , Nicholas (Sheri) Glaros, Tammy (Fred) Johnson, and her siblings Neoma Houghton and Betty Jo Lang. She had nine grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Velma was a member at First Baptist Church of Plant City, she was a bookkeeper at Plant City High School for 20 years, she retired from Hillsborough County Public Schools. She loved to sew and quilt for her friends.
The family will receive friends Monday, May 2, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at New Hope @ Cornerstone, 315 N. Collins Street, Plant City, FL 33567. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM
