Van Byrd O'Neal

Van Byrd O’Neal, 88 of Plant City, passed away February 4, 2021.

Born in Plant City, Florida, he was the son of the late Remer and Lenora O’Neal.

He was also preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Lois Rozelle O’Neal.

Van’s survivors include his children, Linda O’Neal-Nesbitt (Rickey), Darrell O’Neal (Sandra); grandchildren, Brent O’Neal (Shala), Blane O’Neal (Amanda); great grandchildren, Tanner, Tucker, Tayli, and Lealynn.

Van was a Korean War era veteran of the US Army and was a lifelong member of Lone Oak Baptist Church in Plant City. He worked for McClendon Oil for many years and love to fish. He also played and later umpired for Softball.

The family will receive friends from 10-11am, Wednesday, February 10, 2021, Lone Oak Baptist Church 3505 Lone Oak Road, Plant City, with services to follow at 11am. He will also be interred next to Lois in Hopewell Memorial Gardens.
