The son of the late Henry Spell and Sinnie Carter Spell, Troy was the beloved brother to his predeceased siblings, Roy Lee Spell, Lewis Spell, Rosie Spell, and Jack Spell. His legacy continues through his devoted life partner, Marcella Spell, his adoring children, Robbie Allen, Marsha (Chris) Meumann's, Cindy Spell, Mary Spell, and Troy (Kelsey) Spell Jr., and his doting sister, Mary Anne Carter. Troy's love and joy will forever be cherished by his fifteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, who were the light of his life.

Troy's professional life was marked by his dedicated service as a custodian at Kathleen High School, where he was a familiar and friendly face to students and staff alike. His commitment to his work was matched only by his devotion to his faith, as he was a regular attendee of Liberty Southern Baptist Church. Troy's presence in the community was a source of comfort and stability to all who knew him.

A man of simple pleasures, Troy found joy in the tranquility of fishing, the satisfaction of yard work, and the adventures of the Star Trek universe, which he watched with the enthusiasm of a true fan. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his grandchildren and family, creating memories that would become their most treasured inheritance.

Troy's character was the embodiment of kindness and love. His gentle demeanor, unwavering support, and heartfelt affection touched the lives of many. He approached every day with a smile that could light up a room and a heart that knew no bounds.

Friends and family will be received on Friday, June 27, 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Liberty Southern Baptist Church, 2505 W. Granfield Avenue Plant City, FL 33563.
A funeral service will follow at 2:30 PM.
