Sharon Denise Lady, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 59 in Plant City, Florida. Born on March 22, 1965, in Dunedin, Florida, Sharon was the cherished daughter of the late James D. Neal and Evelyn Wickham, and the stepdaughter of Linda Neal. Her life was a testament to the power of caring and compassion, which she extended to everyone she met.
Sharon's journey through life was marked by her dedication to her family, her passion for her work, and her love for the arts. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Jon Lady, and a nurturing mother to her children, Jamie (Mike) Bardell, Katelynn (Rocky) Militano, and Grace Gleason. Her role as a grandmother to her six grandchildren was one she embraced with joy and pride. Sharon's sisters, Carolyn Motsch and Tina Douglas, will remember her as a guiding light and a source of unwavering support.
Sharon's professional life was characterized by her unwavering commitment to the well-being of others. She retired from Lakeland Regional Hospital, where she served as a Registered Nurse, touching the lives of countless individuals with her gentle care and warm smile. Her colleagues will remember her as a dedicated professional who brought comfort and healing to her patients.
Education was a cornerstone of Sharon's life, and she proudly earned an associate's degree that furthered her ability to contribute to her community. Her intellectual curiosity and desire to learn were traits that she carried with her throughout her life.
Beyond her professional and academic achievements, Sharon was an artist at heart. She loved to draw, sketch, paint, and write, channeling her innermost thoughts and feelings into beautiful creations that will serve as lasting reminders of her talent and spirit.
