Sharon Ann Hargis

Sharon Ann Hargis (Gorrell) passed from life into eternal life 2, 21, 2021. She was born January 4, 1947 to Ernest and Dorothy (Gorrell). Sharon graduated from Hillsborough High School (1964). She graduated from University of South Florida with degrees of Bachelor of Arts and a Masters of Arts College of Education. She taught for 39 years in Hillsborough County Schools. She was a faithful member of Shiloh Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Billie G. Hargis. She is survived by her son, Kevin Williams (Allie) and daughter, Kris Pritchard (Chris), grandsons Charlie Conklin, Cole Arnold and Roman Williams, and granddaughter Rachel Arnold. She is also survived by a sister, Nancy Law (Marvin) and a nephew, Eric Law (Haley). The service will be held at Shiloh Baptist Church 1104 Cason Street, Plant City March 12, 2021 at 10am. The family will receive friends at 9am until time of service. Interment will be held at Florida National Cemetery following the service at Shiloh. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations sent in her honor to Shiloh Baptist Church, The Kidney Foundation, or the VFW.
