Romana Lopez Obituary

Romana Lopez, a beacon of warmth and kindness, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2024, in Valrico, Florida, at the age of 46. Born on April 1, 1978, in Mexico, Romana's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and community.

Romana's journey began as the cherished daughter of Amadea Perez, who predeceased her, and survived by her father, Zeferino Lopez. Her vibrant spirit was a gift to all who knew her, and her legacy will be carried on by her loving family. She was a devoted wife to her husband of 20 years, Jesus Nunez, and a nurturing mother to her daughter, Lizette Nunez, and her son, Jose Luis Diaz. Romana's siblings, Tiburcio Lopez, Rufina Madera, Juana Pedera, Defa Lopez, Margarite Lopez, Ana Lopez, Carmela Lopez, Antonio Lopez, Celsa Lopez, and Todoro Lopez, will remember her fondly for her unwavering support and boundless love.

Romana's entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly as the owner of Romi's Tacos in Brandon. Her passion for her work was evident in the joy she took in serving her customers and the close-knit relationships she fostered within the community. Romana's presence at the restaurant was more than just a proprietor; she was a friend, a confidante, and a source of joy for all who entered.

Her commitment to her community extended beyond her business. Romana was very active at San Juan Diego Mission in Dover, where she dedicated her time and energy to serving others. Her involvement in the mission was not just an interest but a calling, as she believed in the power of faith and the importance of giving back.

Those who knew Romana will remember her as the embodiment of love, kindness, and friendliness. Her smile could light up a room, and her generosity knew no bounds. She had the rare ability to make everyone feel like family, and her impact on the lives she touched will be felt for generations to come.

Romana's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with the threads of compassion, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to her loved ones. As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the remarkable woman she was and the indelible mark she left on our hearts.

We take comfort in knowing that Romana's spirit will live on through the memories we cherish and the love she shared so freely. Her legacy is one of joy, service, and the enduring bonds of family—a legacy that will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.

Romana Lopez's life was a gift to us all, and though she has left this earthly realm, her light will never fade. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will be treasured forever.
