Roger Kinman Obituary

Roger Brian Kinman, known affectionately as Roger to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2024, in Polk City, Florida. Born on September 11, 1972, in Tampa, Florida, Roger's life was a testament to the joy and laughter he brought into the world.

Roger's early years in Tampa were filled with the warmth of the Florida sun and the close-knit bond of his family. He was predeceased by his father, Glenn Kinman Sr., but his legacy is carried on through his devoted mother, Carolyn Kinman, his loving girlfriend, Kathy Pratt, and his siblings, Glen (Ginger) Kinman Jr., Latha D. Kinman, and Loretta D. Kinman. Roger's nieces and nephews, to whom he was a cherished uncle, will forever hold dear the memories of their fun-loving uncle.

After proudly serving in the Army, Roger returned to civilian life, where he continued to touch the lives of those around him. His passion for C.B. radios was more than a hobby; it was a way for him to connect with others and share his infectious laughter and stories. Roger's voice over the airwaves will be deeply missed by his fellow enthusiasts.

Those who knew Roger will remember him as a loving and funny individual, always ready with a joke or a kind word. His presence was a source of comfort and joy, and his absence will be felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

As we say goodbye to Roger, we celebrate the life of a man who was a beacon of love and humor. His spirit will continue to inspire us, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with him.

Roger's life was a journey of joy, laughter, and love. As we reflect on his time with us, we are grateful for the moments we shared and the happiness he brought into our lives. Roger Brian Kinman will be dearly missed, but his legacy of love and laughter will endure forever.

Celebration of life will be held November 1, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7PM, with service to follow, at Country Baptist Church, 13422 Sidney Road, Dover, Florida 33527.
