Robert Eugene Colegrove, known affectionately as Bob to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2025, in Plant City, Florida. Born on March 7, 1935, in North Tonawanda, New York, Bob's journey through life was marked by his loving and kind nature, which touched the hearts of all who knew him.
Bob was a proud veteran of the US Air Force, serving his country with honor and dedication. His commitment to service extended into his civilian life, where he was an active member of St. Clement Catholic Church, contributing to the community and forming lasting bonds with fellow parishioners.
After completing his bachelor's degree, Bob channeled his passion for technology into a fulfilling career, working with electronics, which captivated his curiosity and innovative spirit. His expertise and enthusiasm for his work were evident to all who worked alongside him.
Bob's life was a testament to the power of love and commitment. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward Colegrove and Josephine Sacha, as well as his siblings, John Colegrove, Ronnie Colegrove, and Jean Miezwa. The legacy of his love lives on through his beloved wife of 63 years, Carol Colegrove, and his cherished daughter, Crystal Colegrove. Together, they created a family founded on the principles of kindness, support, and unconditional love.
Those who knew Bob will remember him for his gentle demeanor and his unwavering kindness. He was the kind of person who would offer a helping hand without a second thought and greet everyone with a warm smile. His presence was a source of comfort and joy to his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of crossing paths with him.
As we bid farewell to Bob, we celebrate a life well-lived, full of love, service, and the pursuit of knowledge. His memory will continue to inspire and guide us, reminding us of the impact one individual can have on the lives of many.
