Robert Louis Ziegler II, known affectionately as Rob to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025, in Lakeland, Florida, on his 52nd birthday. Born in Plant City, Florida, in 1973, Rob's life was a testament to the joy and laughter he brought into the world.
Rob's early years in Plant City were filled with the warmth of a close-knit community and the love of his family. He was predeceased by his father, Ralph Ziegler, who instilled in him the values of kindness and humor that he carried throughout his life. Rob's mother, Cheryl Ziegler, his wife, Rosie Ziegler, his children, Kyler, Freya, Syrina, and Robert Ziegler, and his sister, Jennifer Carlisle, survive him, each bearing the imprint of his infectious smile and generous spirit.
Those who knew Rob will remember him as the life of the party, always ready with a joke or a friendly word. His humor was a beacon of light, and his presence was a comfort to all. Rob's ability to connect with people was unparalleled, and his friendships were as enduring as they were numerous.
As we say goodbye to Robert Louis Ziegler II, we celebrate a life well-lived, full of moments that will be cherished forever. His story is not one of sorrow, but of a journey marked by an unwavering capacity to make the world a brighter place.
