Robert Leon Rowland, age 67, of Plant City, FL passed away on March 12, 2022.
He was the son of the late Henry Daniel and Frances Gloria Lumley Rowland, he is also preceded in death by siblings; Edwin Rowland and Henry Rowland Jr.
Survivors include wife; Davitta Rowland, children; Tammy Anderson (Thomas), Tonya White, Christopher Rowland, Jared Rowland, Christeen Smith (Darrell), Joseph Rowland, Matthew Rowland, Erin Rowland, Steven Rowland (Stefano), Robert Leon Rowland II (Tabbie), siblings; Ocie Donald Rowland, Roger Lee Rowland, Gloria Darlene Chapman, Rhonda Hernandez, grandchildren; Jonathan, Kane, Isaiah, Trey, Destiny, Thomas II, Hunter, Skylar (Sugar Booger), Eddie, Davitta, Damien, Walter, Taliah, Jared, Ryleigh, Miranda, Cayden, Carter, Peyton, Noah, Naloni, and two great granddaughters.
Robert was a Scout Master to many Eagle Scouts and enjoyed Scouting greatly. He loved to feed everyone and enjoyed fishing. He never met a man he didn't know. He greatly cherished his grandchildren and loved playing with them, picking at them, making silly faces, and crazy dancing. Robert was quite the walking encyclopedia and well known for it.
The family will receive friends Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Haught Funeral Home Chapel, 708 W. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Plant City, FL 33563. A Graveside Service will take place Friday March 18, 2022 at at 10 AM at Springhead Cemetery 4700 County Line Rd Lakeland Fl 33811.
