Robert William May, a lifelong resident of Plant City, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 28, 2024, at the age of 63. Born on November 15, 1961, in the same town he would cherish his entire life, Robert was a beacon of love and joy to all who knew him.
Predeceased by his parents, Arvel Lee May and Jo Ann Johnson, Robert's legacy of warmth and kindness is carried on by his beloved wife, Joy May, and his devoted siblings, Larry May and Kenny May. His presence was a comfort, his laughter a gift, and his absence will be deeply felt by his family and the community he held so dear.
Robert was a man of many passions, finding solace in the simplicity of nature. He was an avid fisherman, often found by the water's edge at dawn, reveling in the quiet anticipation of the catch. His garden was a testament to his patience and care, flourishing under his attentive hand. In moments of leisure, he delighted in the thrill of controlling RC cars, a hobby that brought out his playful spirit and infectious enthusiasm.
Above all, Robert was loving. This single word encapsulates the essence of a man whose heart knew no bounds. His gentle demeanor and unwavering support made him a pillar in the lives of those around him.
As we bid farewell to Robert William May, we celebrate a life lived with purpose and filled with love. His memory will continue to inspire and guide us, just as the sunrise he so loved promises the start of a new day.
