Robert Green Obituary

Robert Dale Green, born on April 8, 1957, in the heart of Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2025, in Plant City, Florida. He was a man whose adventurous spirit and zest for life left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Robert proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army before embarking on a career as a skilled mechanic for heavy equipment. His hands were as deft with the delicate components of machinery as they were firm in a handshake. A man respected by his peers, Robert's dedication to his work was surpassed only by his commitment to his family.

He is lovingly remembered by his cherished former spouse, Denise Green. His legacy lives on through his children: Sarena (Patty) Simons-Green, Joe (Janeen) Green, and Cheryl (Carlos) Batista, and sister in law, Pam Sturgeon. Robert's laughter and stories will be fondly recounted at family gatherings, where his six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren will learn of their grandfather's loving and handy nature.

Robert's sister, Teri Eccleston, will recall her brother's love for the open road, a passion he expressed through his treasured Harley Davidson motorcycle. His love for adventure was contagious, and he never shied away from an opportunity to explore the unknown.

Those who knew Robert will reflect on a life lived with joy and enthusiasm. His warm presence and generosity of spirit made him a beloved figure in his community and beyond. His sense of humor and ability to love without reserve were the hallmarks of a life well-lived.

An adventurous soul, Robert's journey through life was as thrilling and fulfilling as a cross-country ride on his Harley. He approached every twist and turn with a fearless heart and a smile that could light up the darkest of roads. Robert Dale Green will be profoundly missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known him.

Services will be held privately by the family.
