Rita Amberiz, a cherished mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away on February 7, 2024, in Plant City, Florida, just short of her 59th birthday. Born on February 18, 1965, in Hamlin, Texas, Rita's life was a testament to the power of joy, gentleness, and unwavering love.
Rita grew up in a bustling household, the beloved daughter of the late Feliciano Amberiz and Guadalupe Rivera. She was sister to Moses Ambriz, Mary Baza, Robert Amberiz, Marta Height, Adam Amberiz, Felix Ambriz, Ignacio "Nacho" Ambriz, the late Mario Amberiz, and the late Antonio Amberiz. Rita's life was one of service and devotion, both to her family and her faith. She was a dedicated member of the Harvest Church, where she found strength and community. Rita found happiness in going to the mall, taking long walks, and sharing corny jokes that never failed to bring a smile to those around her.
