Raymond Floyd Tyson, 86, of Plant City, born May 31st, 1939, in Dover, Florida, went to be with the Lord December 6th, 2025.
Raymond was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Jolyn Barnes Tyson, loving parents, Floyd & Clara Tyson, as well as his brothers, Thomas Tyson and Arthur Clayton Tyson, and sister Lucille Tyson. He is survived by his children Janice Dorman (James), and Amy Woodall (Michael), grandchildren Victoria Vorster (Sarel) and Kayla Dorman, and great grandchildren Joy, Sarel Jr., and Faith.
Raymond was a long-distance truck driver and loved it and never wanted to be anything else. When he wasn't on the road, he loved to go camping, fishing, and hunting. He also enjoyed cooking and was known for his good southern cooking, especially his fried fish and swamp cabbage.
Services will be held at Haught Funeral Home on Friday December 12th, 2025 with a visitation from 10-11AM, with a service to follow at 11:00AM.
