Paul Timothy Williams

Paul passed away peacefully Friday, May 14th, 2021 at age 72, with his loving family next to him, while giving cancer the finger.

Paul was born in Toledo, Ohio & moved to Tampa at 6 years old. He attended Hillsborough High School, then served in the U.S. Coast Guard in the early ‘70s. Early in his adult life, you could find him on the water on his Hobie Cat or cruising around in one of his Corvettes. As the years went on, he preferred sitting around the dinner table with his family, pressing them for their three favorite things & ordering a round of flan for the table.

He retired after 40 years working as a conductor for CSX Transportation, building lifelong friendships along the way. At 50 years of age, he began his college career, eventually receiving his Masters of Arts degree in Counseling in 2011. Post-retirement, he pursued his passion as a counselor, where he continued to positively impact the lives of so many.
Paul is survived by his loving wife Denise, daughter Ali Rousos (Greg), son David Lupton (Christina), & his sister Margie Smallwood. He is preceded in death by his parents Frank & Harriet Williams, & brother Harry Williams.

The family will receive friends from 1-2pm, Thursday, May 20, 2021, Thonotosassa Church of God, 11702 North Taylor Rd, Thonotosassa, with a funeral service at 2pm. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Durant.
