Nahum Rosales

Nahum Rosales, a cherished patriarch, and esteemed member of the community, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2024, at the age of 95 in Plant City, Florida. Born on November 2, 1929, in San Miguel Tecomatlan, Mexico, Nahum's life was a testament to his enduring spirit and unwavering dedication to his family and work.

Nahum's journey began as the son of the late Gregorio Victoriano and Estefania Rosales, whose memories he held close to his heart following their passing. His life was a rich tapestry woven with love and commitment, particularly evident in his marriage to Maria Cristina Flores. Their union was a remarkable one, spanning over seventy years and blessed with a legacy of seventeen children: Alicia, Eliazer, Maria Ines, Octovio, Isaias, Martha, Lorena, Evodia, Natividad, Nahum Jr., Noe, Guillermina, and Liliana Rosales. While he was predeceased by his children Juana, Paola, Guadalupe, and Francisco Rosales, his memory will live on through his surviving family.

Nahum's life was further enriched by the joy of being a grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather to a lineage that includes fifty grandchildren, over forty great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren. Each of them will carry forward his legacy of love, kindness, and friendliness.

A man of the earth, Nahum was the proud owner of "El Tamarindo," a farm where he raised cattle and cultivated the land with his own hands. His love for work was not just a means to provide for his family but a passion that filled his days with purpose and satisfaction. His dedication to his farm was matched only by his devotion to his faith as a long-standing member of St. Clement Catholic Church.

Those who knew Nahum will remember him as a loving husband, father, and friend. His kind demeanor and friendly smile were a comfort to all who had the pleasure of crossing his path. Nahum's life was a living example of hard work and the joy that comes from nurturing both land and relationships.

As we bid farewell to Nahum Rosales, we celebrate a life lived with unwavering love and kindness. His memory will be cherished and his presence deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him. Nahum's spirit will continue to inspire us, reminding us of the beauty of a life well-lived and the enduring power of family and faith.

Friends and family will be received on Friday, December 13, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Clement Catholic Church, 1104 N. Alexander Street, Plant City, FL 33563.
