Morris Lee Dennison, cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 74 in Plant City, FL. Born on January 25, 1950, in Lumberton, NC.
Morris is survived by his adoring wife, Angela Dillow, whom he married with joy on Valentine's Day earlier this year. He leaves behind a legacy of strength and passion in his son, Morris "Lee" Dennison Jr., and was the proud grandfather to Gracie Charlene and Morris Lee "Trey" Dennison III. His sister Margaret Bennett, sister-in-law Jan, and numerous nieces and nephews will remember him fondly. Preceded in death by his father Earnie Woodrow Dennison, mother Melva Lott, and brother Chester Wayne.
Throughout his life, Morris was a committed union ironworker, taking pride in his contributions to building the backbone of America. Even outside of work, he was known to be incredibly hardworking, often found tending to his yard with a loving touch. His passion for history and the companionship of his beloved dogs were among the many joys of his well-lived life.
Morris was the epitome of a handyman and loving above all else. As Helen Keller aptly put it, "What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us." Morris's impact and the love he shared with so many will continue to be felt long after his passing.
