Born on December 24, 1945, in New Brocton, Alabama, Miriam's life was a testament to her passion for knowledge, her dedication to her family, and her unwavering spirit of generosity. Miriam's academic journey culminated in earning a Bachelor's degree that paved the way for her successful career as a Microbiologist with Super Brands Foods. Her colleagues revered her not only for her professional expertise but also for her nurturing mentorship and the heartfelt guidance she offered to all who crossed her path. Throughout her life, Miriam was the embodiment of love and passion. She approached every challenge with grace and every triumph with humility. Her wisdom was a guiding light for her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Miriam's legacy is carried on by her loving sons, Douglas Griffin and Tom Griffin (married to Teresa), and her cherished sister, Ella Knapp. She was predeceased by her siblings, Robert Willis and Loise Eagan, who welcomed her with open arms into eternal peace. Miriam's interests extended beyond her professional life, as she was an avid reader, a lover of nature, and a connoisseur of the arts. Her presence was a comfort, her laughter a melody, and her advice a treasure that will be deeply missed by all.
