Merenciana Navarro Solis Obituary

Merenciana Navarro Solis, a loving and kind woman whose life was marked by devotion to family, faith, and quiet acts of care, passed away on April 4, 2026, in Plant City, Florida, at the age of 85.

Born on January 24, 1941, in Mexico, she carried with her throughout her life the values, strength, and warmth of her upbringing. She was a woman who met life with grace and humility, and those who knew her will remember her for the gentle way she treated others and the steady presence she offered to her loved ones. Her life was a reflection of compassion, perseverance, and deep affection for her family.

She found comfort and fellowship in St. Clement Catholic Church, where her faith remained an important part of her life. Her devotion was expressed not only through worship, but also through the way she lived each day with patience, gratitude, and care for those around her. She was also known for her enjoyment of knitting, a pastime that reflected her thoughtful nature and her appreciation for creating something beautiful with her hands. Through this simple and cherished interest, she shared warmth in a quiet and meaningful way.

Merenciana was preceded in death by her parents, Cipriano Navarro and Dionicia Solis Negrete. Their memory remained a part of her life, and she carried forward the values they instilled in her. She leaves behind a family who will continue to honor her memory and the love she gave so freely.

She is survived by her children, Ismael Ibarra Navarro, Juan Ibarra Navarro, Dominga Ibarra Navarro, Graciela Ibarra Navarro, Ernesto Aionso Solorio Navarro, and Jose Luis Ibarra Navarro. She also leaves behind fifteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, each of whom was touched by her love, her kindness, and her enduring presence. Her family was the center of her world, and she took great pride in the generations that followed her. The bonds she formed with them were strong, and her legacy will live on through the lives she helped shape.

Those who knew Merenciana will remember her as a loving and kind woman whose heart was always open to others. She offered comfort through her words, strength through her example, and love through her actions. Her life was one of quiet dignity and lasting devotion, and her memory will remain a blessing to all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Though she has departed this life, the love she gave and the faith she carried will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will be cherished always.
