Maurice Eugene DeLong

Maurice “Mort” E. DeLong, Sr., age 78, of Shady Hills, Florida passed away on July 25, 2018. A native of Clay, New York, he was the son of the late Earl and Hazel DeLong.

Survivors include Children, Maurice Delong Jr., Earl DeLong, Louise "Sissy" Snipes, Christopher (Brenda) Snipes, two grandchildren.

Maurice enjoyed race cars, his dogs, and loved his family, grandchildren and many friends. Maurice was a devoted father. He loved his profession as a paint and body man. He was also a talented sign painter. He had a passion for working on cars and spending time with his kids at the race track.


The family will receive friends from 9-10am, Saturday, August 11, 2018, Haught Funeral Home, 708 W Dr MLK Jr Blvd, Plant City, with a memorial service to follow at 10am, concluding at 11am.
