Mary Elizabeth Schwer, known for her gentle kindness and unwavering faith, passed away on May 26, 2024, at the age of 93 in Sarasota, Florida. Born on December 31, 1930, in Toronto, Ohio, Mary's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and community.
Mary was the cherished matriarch of a large and loving family. Predeceased by her devoted husband of 56 years, Harry Schwer, her parents Mathew and Elizabeth Condrin, her brother William Condrin, and sister Patricia Diana, she leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication. Her spirit lives on through her children, Sharon Troesch, Kathleen (David) Bolock, Harry Schwer, Janet (John) Wickman, and Thomas (Melanie) Schwer, as well as her adored seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A stay-at-home mom, Mary's life was rich with the joy of raising her family and engaging with her community. She was a long-standing member of St. Clement Catholic Church in Plant City, Florida, where her faith-filled presence was a source of comfort and inspiration to many.
Mary's zest for life was evident in her love for dancing and swimming. She was a social butterfly who never met a stranger, touching the lives of everyone she encountered with her warmth and grace.
In the words of Mother Teresa, "Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love." Mary embodied this sentiment, touching lives with her gentle nature and loving heart.
