Mary Lou Chambers

Mary Lou Chambers, originally from West Alexander, PA, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2023, in Lakeland, Florida, just one day shy of her 89th birthday. Born on October 16, 1934, Mary Lou was the beloved daughter of the late Buzzie and Rose Marie DuCarme Verno.

Upon completing her high school education, Mary Lou married the love of her life, the late Kenneth W. Chambers, and together they raised three sons, Jerry, David, and Paul. She worked on the family dairy farm and was a nurse at the Washington Hospital and loved flea markets.

In addition to her sons, Mary is survived by her grandchildren, Matthew Chambers and Marissa Chambers, along with her great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, sister Leontyne Preston, brothers, George, Jules and William Verno, grandchild, Jami Chambers, and great-grandson, Cody Filson.

She will be deeply missed by all. Graveside service will be held on Monday, October 23 at 1:00 PM.
