Marvin “M.C.” Hawkins Jr., age 74, of Inverness, FL passed away on October 23, 2018.
Born in Lakeland and a native of Plant City, Florida, he was the son of the late Marvin Curtis, Sr. and Irvin Wilder Hawkins.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Peggy Hawkins, children, Sharon (Ron) Gilberg, Richard (Crystal) Hawkins, Siblings, Wilder Hawkins, Dana Hawkins, and 3 grandchildren.
M.C. worked as a police officer with Plant City Police Department and as a Firefighter with the Plant City Fire Department, spent time working for Mosaic as an Engineer and worked for Florida Fish and Game Commission. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
The family will receive friends Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Haught Funeral Home, 708 W Dr MLK Jr Blvd, Plant City, FL 33563. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM.
