Margaret Woodard Thompson, age 94, of Plant City, FL passed away on February 15, 2020.

A native of Dexter, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Mattie Lou Strickland Woodard.

Margaret is also preceded in death by husband; Gus Thompson, son; Bill “Pete” Thompson, and sister; Doris Gallagher.

Survivors include children; Debbie (Gary) Clark, Tommy Thompson, Sandi (Jim) Swilley, siblings; Dot Dempsey, Patsy Fultz, Nell Turner, grandchildren; Nikki (TJ) Ellison, Zack (Wendy) Clark, Marty (Lea) Swilley, Missy Davis, Matt (Ashley) Swilley, great grandchildren; Kristin, Jakob, and Garrett Ellison, Harleigh and Josie Clark, Logan, Seth, and Natalie Futch, and Clayton Johnson.

Margaret was a member of Lighthouse Word Church in Chiefland, she also attended Faith Lighthouse Church. Margaret loved to sew, design clothes, crochet, reading, and cooking. She greatly cherished her family.

The family will receive friends Friday, February 21, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Haught Funeral Home, 708 W Dr MLK Jr Blvd, Plant City, FL 33563. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM
