He was the son of the late Silas Pullen and Euldine Coleman. Mack was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley Pullen, and by his siblings Shelba Davis, Charles Pullen, Harriet Platt, Betty Parker, and Gary Pullen. He is survived by his siblings Elizabeth Hofhenke and Silas L. Pullen, and his children, Ken Pullen and Keith Pullen who will carry forward his memory with love and gratitude.
Mack spent much of his working life as a dragline operator for Cargill Phosphate, where he was respected for his steady hands, strong work ethic, and dependable nature.
