LindaAnn May Leon, affectionately known as Linda, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2024, in Ruskin, Florida, at the age of 56. Born on August 13, 1967, in Wayne, Michigan, Linda's legacy is one of unwavering love and passion.
Linda is survived by her devoted husband of 24 years, Michael Leon; her loving children, Johnathan (Ashley) Czarniak, Alan Acereto, Nichole (David) Beeson Matherne, Alana Acereto, Renee Deogracias, and Amanda Deogracias; her caring brother, Elmer Czarniak; and her dear sisters, Tina (Tony) Whaley and Stella Mcquiston. She was a cherished grandmother to numerous grandchildren, with one more joyfully anticipated. Linda was preceded in death by her birth parents, Elmer Eugene Czarniak and Clementine Maryann Elias, and is remembered by her foster parents, David and Mary Gonzales.
Linda dedicated her life to caring for others as a medical assistant in home health, treating her patients with the same love and attention as if they were her own family. Her commitment to her work was paralleled only by her devotion to her family and her faith. A proud member of Shiloh Baptist Church, Linda's spirit was guided by her belief and the strength she drew from her community.
A breast cancer survivor, Linda embodied resilience and hope. Her grandchildren were the center of her world, and she poured her love into every moment spent with them. Linda lived this truth every day through her actions and the deep connections she forged. Her warmth, kindness, and nurturing spirit will be profoundly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A memorial for Linda will be on Wednesday, April 10th, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Shiloh Baptist Church.
