Kenneth Conrad Smith, lovingly known as "Weasel," passed away on July 7, 2025, in Tampa, Florida, at the age of 68. He was born on December 11, 1956, in Tampa and was a longtime resident of Seffner, Florida.
Kenny was a proud member of the White Tail Hunting Club in Box Springs, Georgia, alongside his brother Paul. A passionate outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing, and attending NASCAR races with his best friend, Alan Rountree. Kenny will be remembered for his big personality, bold sense of humor, and contagious laugh. He cherished time spent with his many friends and family.
A hardworking man, Kenny was a heavy equipment operator for many years, working with companies including Chapman, Kearney, Ripa, and Alto. He was a cowboy at heart and spent time working at L Cross Ranch in Okeechobee, where he lived his passion for the outdoors.He courageously battled cancer for eleven years, and the family extends heartfelt thanks to Moffitt Cancer Center for their care and support during that time.
Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Paul Eugene Smith, Sr.; his brothers, Michael Smith and Paul Smith, Jr.; and his sister, Susan Hopper Rudd. He is survived by his loving mother, Betty Smith; siblings Linda Lynn (Jack), Kathy White, Johnny Smith (Rhonda), Cindy Smith, and Wayne Smith (Janet); and many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss him.
