Kasey Barfield Obituary

Kasey Lee Barfield, 35, of Parrish, Florida, passed away on April 6, 2026. He was born on November 30, 1990, in Brandon, Florida, and lived a life marked by love, laughter, and a generous spirit that touched everyone who knew him.

Kasey was the beloved son of Leonard and Christine Barfield and was raised by Christine with love and devotion. His birth mother was Belinda Barfield, who preceded him in death. He was also deeply connected to his family through his grandparents, Leonard M. Barfield, known lovingly as "Paw Paw," who is deceased, Clara Faye Barfield, William Robert Johnson, known as "Pop," who is deceased, and Elizabeth Johnson. He shared a close bond with his siblings, Matthew Barfield and his wife Mara, Charley Fryman, and Bobby Bridges and his wife Shandra. He was a proud uncle to Jonah, Levi, and Savannah, and he leaves behind many other family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Kasey was known for his big heart and his unwavering willingness to help others in any way he could. He would give anything to anyone, and his kindness left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know him. He had a great sense of humor and a natural gift for keeping people laughing, and his presence often brought light into every room he entered. He was fearless in spirit, a true daredevil at heart, and he lived with a boldness that reflected his personality and zest for life.

He loved fishing and found peace and enjoyment in time spent near the water. He was also a devoted football fan who loved all teams and especially enjoyed the excitement and energy of the game. During his younger years, he played high school football, where he learned the value of teamwork, determination, and perseverance. These qualities remained with him throughout his life and were reflected in the way he carried himself and treated others.

Kasey also enjoyed playing Grand Theft Auto, and he took pride in the things that brought him happiness and relaxation. He loved cooking and found joy in preparing meals, sharing food, and spending time with others. He was especially proud of his work at Tires Plus in Sarasota, where he valued his job and the people he worked alongside. His work ethic and dependable nature were appreciated by those around him, and he approached his responsibilities with dedication and pride.

Those who knew Kasey will remember a man who lived with authenticity, warmth, and a spirit that could not be overlooked. He was full of life, full of humor, and full of love for the people in his world. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will continue to carry forward the laughter, kindness, and love he shared so freely.

Kasey Lee Barfield will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who were blessed to know him. Though his time on earth was far too short, the impact of his life will endure through the many lives he touched and the memories he created with those who loved him.
