Karen Lee Christie-Williams, a beacon of kindness and gentleness, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2024, at the age of 59 in Tampa, Florida. Born on December 8, 1964, in Plant City, Florida, Karen's life was a testament to her genuine, caring nature and her deep love for her family and community.

Karen is survived by her loving parents, Thomas and Ruby Christie; her devoted husband, Ed Williams; her daughters, Melanie Brock and Danielle Smith (Jeremy); her brother, T.K. Christie (Shelley); and her five cherished grandchildren. Her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she nurtured them with the same warmth and affection she extended to everyone she met.

For many years, Karen was the beloved manager of Old Town Pizzeria, where she was not just a supervisor but a friend to all her colleagues. Her work was more than a job; it was an extension of her community involvement and her commitment to creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone who walked through the doors.

Karen's interests were a reflection of her love for the outdoors and the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid fisher, finding peace and joy in the patience and tranquility of the sport. The beach and coastal landscapes were her haven, places where she could bask in the beauty of nature and the company of her loved ones.

A memorial service to celebrate Karen's life will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 10:30 AM. First Baptist Church, 3309 James L. Redman Pkwy, Plant City, Florida 33566.
