Julius White Obituary

Julius Simeon White, a cherished husband, devoted father, and loving grandfather, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2024, at the age of 67 in Plant City, Florida. Born on January 15, 1957, in Apopka, Florida, Julius was a man who lived a full life, marked by the simple pleasures of the outdoors and the company of his beloved family.

Predeceded in death by his parents, Archie P. White and Annie, Julius's legacy of love and laughter is carried on by his wife of 40 years, Leigh Ann White, and their children: Pete, Renee, Brad, and Robin White. He was also a doting grandfather to two adoring grandchildren who were the apples of his eye.

Julius was a fixture at the local flea market, where he was known for his friendly banter and the joy he found in the hustle and bustle of market life. He could often be found sharing stories with his fellow vendors and customers, a testament to his warm and engaging personality.

An avid outdoorsman, Julius's passion for hunting and fishing was more than just a hobby; it was a way of life. He cherished the serenity of nature and the thrill of the chase. His love for the outdoors was infectious, and he often shared this passion with friends and family, creating lasting memories on countless trips.

As we remember Julius, we reflect on the words of Henry David Thoreau: "Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after." Julius knew well that the true catch was not the fish or the game, but the moments of quiet contemplation, the bond of companionship, and the stories that would be told for years to come.

Julius's life was one of integrity, hard work, and most importantly, love. He was a pillar in his community, a steadfast partner to his wife, and an unwavering guide to his children and grandchildren. His absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him, yet his spirit will continue to inspire those he left behind.

In honor of Julius's life, we will gather to share stories, laughter, and tears, remembering a man who made an indelible impact on our lives. His was a life well-lived, full of the rich experiences and deep relationships that define a man's worth.

Julius Simeon White will be missed, but never forgotten. His story does not end with his passing, for he lives on in the hearts of his family, the legacy of his character, and the natural world he so dearly loved. His was a life that exemplified the beauty of simplicity, the value of hard work, and the importance of family. May he rest in peace, knowing that he was truly loved and will always be remembered.

Services will be held privately by the family.
