Judy Gail Howard, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2025, at the age of 78 in Brandon, Florida. Born on March 9, 1947, in Plant City, Florida, Judy was the cherished daughter of the late Marvin Wade Howard and Lattie Lazona Thompson. Her life was a testament to the power of love, family, and faith.
Judy's early years in Plant City laid the foundation for a life filled with joy, music, and an unwavering commitment to her loved ones. She was a sister to many, predeceased by her siblings Roger Howard, Montez Cochrane, Linda Sue Tourt, Helen Louise Campbell, Athalee "Kitty" Evans, and Nancy Sharon Herring. Her legacy continues through her beloved children, Linda Hall, Diana Hall, and Teresa (John) Pike, her brother Tyson Howard, and her adored grandchildren Tony, Ellie Polio, Olivia, Larry, Wesley, and Brantley Pike, as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will forever hold her in their hearts.
Judy's life was a symphony of simple pleasures and profound commitments. An avid news watcher, she was always well-informed and ready to engage in thoughtful conversation. Her love for coffee was matched only by her passion for music, which filled her home and heart with melodies that echoed her own harmonious spirit. Judy's love for chocolate was well-known, and she found joy in every sweet moment life offered.
Above all, Judy cherished her family. She was a pillar of strength and support, always there with open arms and a listening ear. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her universe, and she poured every ounce of her being into nurturing and guiding them. Her love was a constant, unwavering force that will continue to guide them throughout their lives.
A faithful servant of the Lord, Judy's kindness radiated to all who knew her. She lived her faith through her actions, always putting others before herself and spreading love and compassion wherever she went. Her gentle spirit and warm smile were a comfort to many, and her legacy of love will continue to inspire those who were blessed to know her.
