Judy Rena Hatley

Judy Rena Hatley, passed away on March 20, 2025, in Dover, Florida, at the age of 59. Born on July 13, 1965, in Florence, Alabama, Judy's life was a testament to being a true Free Spirit.

Judy's early years were lived in Florence AL then Farm Work brought the family to Dover, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Buford Staggs and Cora Lee Taylor, her brothers Ronnie W. Staggs and Danny Lee Staggs and sisters Connie Edenfield and Bonnie Sue Davis. Her journey led her to find and cherish her beloved husband, E.J. Hatley, who also preceded her in death.

Judy's legacy lives on through her children, Mitch Harper and Brian Pelley. Her loving spirit extended to her siblings, Donnie Staggs, Dennis Staggs, Arthur Staggs, and Alice Sullivan, who will continue to honor her memory. Judy's love blossomed further with the joy brought by her two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Judy's passion for the outdoors was more than a hobby; it was her vocation.

Those who knew Judy best would describe her as the embodiment of love and kindness. Her gentle free spirit and generous heart made her a cherished loved one.

Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Haught Funeral Home, 708 W. Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd Plant City, FL 33563.
A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM.
