Joseph Ramthun

On Friday, April 23, 2021, Rev. Joseph "Joe" Ramthun a loving husband and father, entered the gates of heaven at the age of 61. He was the son of the late  Frank and Emma Ramthun. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 21 years Beth Ramthun, daughters Katelyn Ramthun, Casie Ramthun, Godson Johnathan Preston, sister Mary (Fred) Alumbaugh, nephew Michael (Lori) Bartholomew, nieces Samantha (Brett) Camp, Mickayla Filmon, Melinda (Sig) Olsen, great­ nephews Wyatt Camp, Aaron Shaffer and Christopher Shaffer.                                     

Joe was born on December 15, 1959 in Springfield, IL. He was raised on a farm where he started driving a tractor at the age of 9. While most kids his age watched cartoons on Saturday mornings, he had to work in the field. In his late teens he moved to Zephyrhills, FL. He worked at a chicken farm for about a day or two. He also worked for a company called Adam's building company. On June 21, 1991 he started working for Brown International, where he was a maintenance mechanic. With Brown he was able to travel to Brazil and Argentina. He was a faithful member at Full Gospel Tabernacle where he was an Ordained minister. In 1996 Joe, Lee and Tim started a singing group called The Watchmen on the Wall. He loved spending time with his family, but more importantly he loved talking and  singing about God.
