Born on November 19, 1955, in Bethesda, Maryland, Joe's life was marked by a warm spirit and a dedication to his loved ones. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, yet his legacy of kindness and friendship will forever remain.
Joe was predeceased by his parents, Howard George Hamilton, Jr. and Nancy Ray. He is survived by his devoted wife of 16 years, Patricia Hamilton, and his loving children: Charley Hamilton, Jana (Dan) Upbin, and Beth Anderson. Joe's memory will also be cherished by his siblings, Michael, Dennis, Mark, and Jeff Hamilton. His joy was multiplied by his seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, who will miss their grandfather's gentle presence and boundless affection.
For years, Joe was a dedicated service writer at Clarke Automotive, where his amiable nature and commitment to excellence earned him the respect and friendship of colleagues and customers alike. His professional life was characterized by the same warmth and generosity that he extended to all aspects of his life.
A passionate sports enthusiast, Joe's love for his favorite teams—the Cincinnati Reds, Florida Seminoles, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Rays—was surpassed only by his love for NASCAR. He found great joy in the excitement of the race and the camaraderie of fellow fans. Joe's enthusiasm for his teams was infectious, and many fond memories were made cheering alongside family and friends.
Joe will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather. His kind and friendly nature made him a beloved figure in his community. Always ready with a smile and a helping hand, Joe's approach to life was characterized by an unwavering positivity and an open heart.
