Jose Esmir Blas Santamaria, a cherished family man and respected member of the Plant City community, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2025, at the age of 50. Born on January 14, 1975, in Mexico, Jose was the beloved son of the late Domingo Blas and the devoted Teodora Santamaria, who survives him.
Jose's journey led him to Plant City, Florida, where he established his life and family. He was a loving husband to his wife, Karina Arsiga Cardona, and a proud father to his children, Jose, Amelia, Leticia, and Juan Blas. His legacy continues through his cherished grandson, Adriel Hernandez Blas. Jose also leaves behind a close-knit family, including his siblings, Maria, Enelfa, Rosalino, and Teodola Blas, who will miss him dearly.
A hardworking man, Jose dedicated many years as a laborer in farming, where his strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his family were evident to all who knew him. His colleagues respected him for his reliability and his willingness to lend a helping hand whenever needed.
Jose's passion for gardening was more than a hobby; it was a reflection of his nurturing spirit and love for nature. His garden was a testament to his patience and care, flourishing under his attentive eye. It was in this personal sanctuary that Jose found peace and solace, often sharing the fruits of his labor with friends and family.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Haught Funeral Home, 708 W. Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd Plant City, FL 33563.
