Jo Ann Gottschall, known affectionately as JoAnn to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2024, in Plant City, Florida, at the age of 65. Born on January 9, 1959, in Middlesboro, Kentucky, JoAnn was a beacon of love and kindness to all who knew her.
Predeceased by her parents, Keith Benedict and Mary Kathryn Marsee, and her beloved son, Edward G. Gottschall, JoAnn's legacy of warmth and compassion lives on through her devoted husband of 44 years, Ed Gottschall, her loving children, Sherrie (Steven) Sweatt, Morgan (Bobby) Barber, and Levi (Danielle) Gottschall, her caring siblings, Mike Benedict, William Benedict, Paul Knick, and Brenda Anderson, and her seven adored grandchildren.
JoAnn's life was a testament to the power of gentle kindness. She was the embodiment of love in action, always placing the needs of her family above her own. Her gentle spirit and unwavering support were the cornerstones of her family, creating a home filled with laughter, understanding, and unconditional love.
