Jimmy Ray Staggs

Jimmy Staggs, age 76, of Dover passed away on April 25, 2020. He was the son of the late Roscoe and Clara Wilbanks Staggs. Survivors include his wife: Helen Staggs, Children: Martha Reynolds, Jessie Staggs, Sandra Staggs, Randy Staggs, Siblings: Evelyn(Robert) Holmes, Brenda Kraft, Larry Staggs, 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, and numerous other family members. Jimmy was also preceded in death by Siblings: Buford, and Billy Staggs, Margaret Douglas, and Frances Wilson. Grandson Randy Staggs, and Great granddaughter Riley Staggs.

Jimmy worked for years in the nursery, and agriculture business. He enjoyed he was a member of New Hope Freewill Baptist Church in Dover where he was proud to be a Deacon. He enjoyed hunting, gardening antiques and cherished his family. In accordance with the Covid-19 restrictions the services will be private for family only, but will be live-streamed at 11:00am Thursday 4/30/2020 on the Haught Funeral Home Facebook Page and at www.haught.care.
