Jiles Darwin Smith

Jiles Darwin "Dob" Smith, age 95, of Plant City, FL passed away on May 30, 2022.

He was the son of the late Tom and Nona Smith. He is preceded in death by his wife Jimmie Smith, and his siblings Wendell Smith, Primrose Harrison, and T.G. Smith.
Survivors include his children Dan (Gay) Smith, Steve (Peggy) Smith. He also had four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Jiles worked as an inspector for Florida Department of Agriculture and Sales Broker for Seald Sweet International. He loved to play golf, fishing, and watching sports. He served his country in the U.S. Army.

The family will receive friends Saturday, June 4, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Haught Funeral Home Chapel, 708 W. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Plant City, FL 33563. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM
