Jeanette Davis, 60 of Tampa passed away April 2, 2021.
Born in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, she was the daughter of Bisby and Charlottie Burton, her mother survives.
Other survivors include her husband of 39 years, Michael Davis; children, Lonnie Davis (Whitney), Treana Davis (Deshawn), Patricia Davis; siblings, J.B., Donnie, Ronnie, Lemuel, Teena, Ramona; grandchildren, Kenya, Patrick, Kendrick, Sy'miah.
Jeanette was of the Baptist faith, and loved crossword puzzles, cooking and fishing. She worked very hard all her life. Making Sure the needs of her family were met; never going without. Even spoiling them at times because that's what mothers do. She didn't let cancer stop her. Six months ago when she found out inflammatory cancer had invaded her body, she NEVER stopped moving how she moved. She kept right on fighting like the Strong Warrior she is. She was always able to make you smile and was a great listener.
The family will receive friends from 7-8pm, Friday, April 9, 2021, Haught Funeral Home, 708 W Dr MLK Jr Blvd, Plant City, with service to follow at 8pm.
Masks will be required for the gathering with the service portion being livestreamed.
