Jason Alan Kinney, 46, of Norwich, Connecticut, passed away on August 22, 2025, in Plant City, Florida, surrounded by the love of his family and friends. Born on September 9, 1978, to the devoted parents Edmund and Betty Kinney, Jason carried an irrepressible zest for life that endeared him to many throughout his journey.
Possessing a creative spirit and a passion for the arts, Jason pursued and achieved a Bachelor of Fine Arts from St. Leo University, graduating with honors, an accomplishment that was a source of pride not only for him but also for his family.
While Jason's interests were many, he held a particular fondness for the simplicity of fishing. The tranquility of waiting for a catch, the patience it instilled, and the joy of being one with nature were facets of the hobby that resonated deeply with his character. Those who knew Jason appreciated his eclectic taste in music and his enthusiasm for watching television and YouTube, through which he stayed connected with the world and its evolving cultures.
He is survived by his deeply caring parents, Edmund and Betty Kinney, his loving brother Chad Kinney, and a network of relations and friends whose lives were touched by his warmth and compassion.
As we say farewell to Jason, we are reminded of the beauty in cherishing the moments we have with one another and the memories we create. Jason's legacy is one of passion, artistry, and heartfelt connection, and it is with this in mind that we celebrate his life and honor his memory.
