Janet Faye Willard was called to her heavenly home on August 31, 2023, in Plant City, Florida. Born on November 27, 1943, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Janet lived a life characterized by her faith, kindness, and generosity.
Janet was a woman of deep faith, which was evident in her involvement with the First Church of God in Plant City. She was a dedicated member of the church and her faith was a guiding force in her life. In her younger years, she taught Sunday School in Missouri and later taught Adult Bible Class, sharing her love for God with others.
Janet was a hardworking and dedicated individual. She spent 14 years of her life working as a custodian for the public school system in Missouri. Her dedication to her work was admired by many. She was always ready to lend a helping hand and her warm smile was a source of comfort to many.
Janet was a loving mother to her children, Jaxene Morgan, who predeceased her, Crystal and her husband Allen Walker, and Vernon and his wife Kelly Willard. She was a devoted grandmother to six grandchildren and a doting great-grandmother to five great-grandchildren. Janet's family was her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Janet was predeceased by her husbands, Gary Voelker and Coy Willard. Her marriages were marked by mutual respect and love, and she was a devoted wife to both her husbands. Her loss is deeply felt by all who knew and loved her.
Janet Faye Willard will be remembered as a woman of faith, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, a dedicated worker, and a kind and generous friend. Her life was a testament to her strong faith and her love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate her life and the positive impact she had on so many. Janet's spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched during her time on earth.
