James "Monty" Kruse Obituary
James "Monty" Jay Kruse, 78 of Thonotosassa passed away September 30, 2022, at his home.
Born in Ft Worth, Texas, he was the son of the late Frederick and Orpha Kruse.
Also preceding him in death was a grandson, Christian.
His survivors include his wife of 58 years, Bonita "Carmeleta" Kruse; children, Rob Kruse, Hugh Kruse, Troy Kruse (Dee), Carmaan Martin (Todd), Wade Kruse, Haley Sallon (Jeffrey), Don Kruse, Dean Kruse; siblings, Jonn Kruse (Joanell), Lance Kruse, Jud Kruse (Moneca), Lonny Kruse (Kathy); twenty-five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and one on the way.
Monty was a salesman with Christian Education Service, a family-owned company for over 20 years. He later turned his hobby of caring for plants and trees into a second career owning a palm tree nursery and landscape maintenance business.
He loved any sports and followed the Florida Gators.
There will be a celebration of life at 7:00pm, Friday, October 7, 2022, Haught Funeral Home Chapel, 708 W Dr MLK Jr Blvd, Plant City.
Monty will be laid to rest in Prairie Creek Conservation Cemetery in Gainesville, Florida at a later date.
