Predeceased by his father, Jim Pitts, James leaves behind a legacy of warmth and generosity. He is survived by his devoted wife, Dolores Pitts, with whom he shared a lifetime of cherished memories. His spirit will live on through his children, Theresa Martin, Elizabeth Asher, and James Pitts Jr., as well as his adored grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life.

James was a steadfast member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Thonotosassa, Florida, where he dedicated himself to the service of his community and the Lord. His unwavering faith was evident in every aspect of his life and inspired those around him.
