Jack Sprouse, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2024, at the age of 80 in Tampa, Florida. Born on July 7, 1944, in Alabama, Jack's life was one marked by devotion to his family, service to his country, and an unwavering zest for life.

Jack is survived by his loving wife, Rita Sprouse, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories and adventures. He was a guiding light to his children, J.R. Sprouse . (Cindy), Olyne Perez (Alex), and Jackie Carter. His legacy continues to shine brightly through his five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, who will carry forward the values and lessons he instilled in them. He is also surived by his siblings; Cindy, Mack and Beverly.

A proud veteran of the Army, Jack dedicated himself to serving his nation with honor and courage. After his military service, he became a well-respected produce broker in Plant City, where he was a long-time resident. His work ethic and integrity in the industry were unparalleled, earning him the respect and friendship of many.

Jack's interests were as vibrant as his personality. He loved to play poker, a game that not only brought him joy but also allowed him to form lasting friendships. His love for exercise was more than a hobby; it was a testament to his belief in living life to the fullest, staying active, and embracing every moment.

As someone who understood the value of hard work and commitment, Jack often reflected on the words of Thomas Jefferson, "I find that the harder I work, the more luck I seem to have." This quote encapsulated Jack's approach to life, as he believed in creating his own luck through dedication and perseverance.
