Jack is survived by his loving wife, Rita Sprouse, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories and adventures. He was a guiding light to his children, J.R. Sprouse . (Cindy), Olyne Perez (Alex), and Jackie Carter. His legacy continues to shine brightly through his five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, who will carry forward the values and lessons he instilled in them. He is also surived by his siblings; Cindy, Mack and Beverly.

After his military service, he became a well-respected produce broker in Plant City, where he was a long-time resident.
