Henrietta "Mitzie" Marmon Medley
September 20, 1936 - June 8, 2021
Preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Harold Medley, parents, Elmer and Ana Marmon, three brothers and five sisters as well as a grandson and a great granddaughter.
Survived by daughters, Patricia Criswell (Tommy) of Plant City, Florida, Carolyn Raska of Indiana, Barbara East of Georgia, Janet McClenithan of Missouri, and Susie Wilson (James) of Colorado, fifteen grandchildren and thirty-two great grandchildren, sister; Marietta Arnold and brother, George Barbier, both of Missouri, and her beloved chihuahua, Baby.
Born in New York, Mitzie lived most of her life in Missouri where she was an active member of Scott City Baptist Church, although form 1966 - 1992 was a resident in Hardee County, Florida and was a member of Wauchula Baptist Church before returning to Missouri.
Mitzie was a supporter of Alzheimer's Research and various retired military support groups. Listening to Gaither Vocal Bands, especially Mark Lowery, was one of her favorite things to do. She loved sunflowers, bird watching, shopping, Cardinal Baseball games, and her dog, Baby.
Mitzie's favorite hymn was In The Garden, where she is now with Jesus, Harold, and many loved ones already there. She is loved and will be missed by her family.
