Gloria Vigil Guy, a loving, generous, and gentle soul, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2023. Born on April 3, 1960 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Gloria lived a life full of love and kindness that touched the hearts of everyone she encountered. Gloria was blessed with a large and loving family. She was a devoted and loving wife to her husband, Terry Guy, and a wonderful mother to her daughters, Cherish, Jessica, and Hannah. Her daughters carry on her legacy of love and generosity, supported by their respective husbands, Omar Ortega, Ethan Colding, and Caleb Meeks. Gloria's love extended to her five grandchildren, who were the apple of her eye. She shared a special bond with her sister, Shiela Artaz, and her brothers, James and Mitch Vigil, who will remember her fondly for her gentle and nurturing nature. A devout member of the Shiloh Baptist Church, Gloria's faith was a guiding light in her life. She served her church community with unwavering commitment and love, her kindness reflecting the teachings she held dear. Her generous heart and gentle spirit were a testament to her deep faith and love for her community. Gloria was known for her loving and generous spirit. Her gentle demeanor and warm heart left a lasting impression on everyone she met. As Mother Teresa once said, "Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love." Gloria embodied this sentiment in her everyday life, always choosing love and kindness in every interaction. Gloria Vigil Guy leaves behind a legacy of love and generosity. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved, a testament to a life well-lived. Friends and family will be received September 5, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a service following at 11:00 AM at Shiloh Baptist Church, 905 West Terrace Drive, Plant City, Florida 33563.
